Amphitheatre Explorers (KS2-3)

Explore a real archaeological site with a trained archaeologist. Uncover more about the discovery of London’s Roman Amphitheatre, the topography of Roman London and what happened in one of its most important buildings. Lasting around 1.5 hours, these facilitated sessions are designed to provide an exciting insight into life in the capital nearly 2000 years ago.

Cost: £110 + VAT per class/1.5-2hr session (£125 + VAT for bookings from 15 April 2024), funding available.

Great Fire of London (KS1-2)

This will include creative and discussion-based activities looking at what life was like in London before, during and after the fire. You and your group will be introduced to Samuel Pepys and Sir Christopher Wren in the heart of the City, before heading into Guildhall Art Gallery to map out the spread of the fire, meet a Fire Judge and design a monument to commemorate the City that rose from the ashes.

There is an option to add a guided visit to The Monument to the Great Fire of London to this workshop to make a Great Fire Study Day. Please ask for information.

Cost: £110 + VAT per class/1.5-2hr session (£125 + VAT for bookings from 15 April 2024), funding available.
