Hampstead Heath is home to some of the best outdoor swimming spots in London including three natural bathing ponds and one 60m Lido.
Closure due to national lockdown
The Bathing Ponds and Lido are now closed until further notice due to the national lockdown which was announced on 4 January.

Cash (no change given at the Ponds) or card payment are both accepted.
Contact details will be taken by staff to comply with the Government's Test and Trace scheme.
The income generated at the Ponds and Lido contributes towards the cost of Life-guarding and operating them all year round.
The sale of season tickets has been suspended while the Bathing Ponds and Lido are closed due to the national lockdown.
All season tickets will be extended by the number of days the Ponds and Lido are closed. This extension will take place when there is a confirmed date for reopening.
Concessions for under 16s, students, over 60s, those on Job Seekers Allowance, those in receipt of Universal Credit or in receipt of the Personal Independence Payment or with a Disabled Card are available. You will be asked to provide proof of eligibility when you swim.
